The Witch and Her Daughter - Paperback

by C. Dale Brittain (Author)

This is an omnibus edition of "The Witch and the Cathedral" and "Daughter of Magic."
After twenty years as Royal Wizard of Yurt, Daimbert thinks he ought to have magic pretty well figured out. But spells aren't enough when his heart is broken, when monsters from the Land of Magic threaten a peaceful town, when he meets an intriguing witch, or when the next generation needs wizardly guidance--including a little girl who can already turn someone into a frog.

Author Biography

C. Dale Brittain is both a fantasy author and a professor of medieval history, having been writing stories since she was five years old. Reading J.R.R. Tolkien at the age of fourteen made her determine to write fantasy, and a high-school trip to Europe with her family, which included a lot of climbing around castles, propelled her into a career as a medievalist. She wrote dozens of novels (of varied length and quality) in her youth, but "A Bad Spell in Yurt" was the first to be published.
